The secret Library & The Search for The True lodge
Whether you unraveled the LCCN puzzle or simply found your way to The Secret Library thanks to other Lodge members, we’re glad you’re here. The Secret Library is the jumping off point as we search for the secrets of The True Lodge. The True Lodge remains a mystery to all of us and it’s not something to just discover overnight.
Monthly from May 2024 through April 2025 there will be a quests to help search for The True Lodge. Some quests will simply be QUEST(IONS), some will be online puzzles, some will be in real life, and some may be a mix of all of these things. Some QUEST(IONS) will also be shared with Idea Factory Members and will be part of the 2025 Idea Factory Members’ Show. Sometime each month #49 will email out the quest for the month to all Lodge members. Members are not required to participate in any way or are welcome to participate in some quests but not others. All results will be posted on this page.
Some quests will be in-person in Madison, WI but there will be an attempt to include members outside of Madison as much as is possible. Some quests are time/event sensitive and others are open to complete at any point through April 2025. If new members find The Lodge in the coming 12 months they will be able to go through and complete any/all quests that they are interested in.

This QUEST is an in real life gathering for fun and socializing. The quests for the evening will involve finding parking and walking from the picnic table to procure tasty beverages from the bar at The Biergarten at Olbrich Park
Day and Time: Thur. Sept. 5th, 2024 from 5:30-7:30
Location: 3527 Atwood Ave, Madison, WI (Look for the table with the large bowl of gummy bears.)
Other Info: Bring some funds for food/beverages. The Lodge will provide some basic snacks. Carry-In food is welcome.

After some time slippage the quests resume with a real life QUEST in Madison, WI. We will be printing a special Lodge letterpress print and checking out the beer & bingo at VFW Day Post 7591.

Here are a few things we know about The True Lodge
-SIGNS AND SYMBOLS! There are multiple known symbols connected to The True Lodge. The first is the filled in black circle. As you already know this symbol is the primary symbol associated with The Idea Factory. When used in connection with The Idea Factory this is seen as a dot, when used with The Lodge it is seen as a hole, and when used with The True Lodge it is seen as a sphere. Oftentimes what’s important is looking at the same thing with new eyes. The second and primary symbol for The True Lodge is the clear/transparent circle (shown here with different color backgrounds). The other known symbol is the white circle emoji. You are welcome to use these symbols in public, on social media posts, in text messages, etc. as only someone in The Lodge will understand their significance (iykyk).
-Since the sphere is the primary shape for The True Lodge, we have started to compile True Lodge spherical images and and connected artists at these links.
-There is also a mysterious portal that appears to give a glimpse into The True Lodge. Images cycle in and out of this portal and you can visit at any time. There is little known about the portal, but you can access it here:
